    The 29-year-old had been hoping to enter a Copa America tournament on home soil this summer with a regular role nailed down at club level. A transfer from Arsenal to the City Ground in 2023 was intended to aid that cause.

    Turner did, however, pay the price for some costly errors in 2023-24, with Forest taking to dropping him down their pecking order. As a result, the former New England Revolution star has linked up with his country with no minutes under his belt since February 28.
